In the third of a three-part (see January and February Exercise Snack Videos) series, Lori shows muscular power training for active adults and seniors. These exercises, involving the core, can help improve back muscles and movement. Muscular power exercises are the quick/slow actions that can help strength, balance and movement.

Lori shows hip lifts, squeezing the glutes, also known as “bridge” in yoga, and using your arms, without equipment, and stabilizing your torso to move quickly.

Just getting started with or returning to exercise? A well-planned assessment will determine the best way to start. Call Lori at 818-620-1442 to ask about a safe, personal fitness evaluation.
