Why Choose A Certified Trainer?
A certified trainer must have a comprehensive physical or health-related educational background, and demonstrate that they possess an understanding and depth of knowledge concerning the body’s response to exercise. People with a degree in kinesiology, exercise science or sports and fitness education understand and can apply the process of functional anatomy, biomechanics and motor behavior.
Functional anatomy is defined as how our body moves in order to accomplish daily activities of living; biomechanics refers to how physics relates to sport, motion, resistance and momentum. Motor behavior is how our brain translates messages into physical skills such as lifting weights, running, balancing.
