Whether you support or condemn the landmark Supreme Court decision that upheld ObamaCare, you can do something to mitigate the possibility that you have to deal with the healthcare system: exercise!
That’s right. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that prevention is a significant key to staving off serious health problems. That certainly includes ensuring you have an annual physical and the “standard” preventive tests (e.g., prostate exam for men, mammogram and pap smear for women, colonoscopy for anyone over 50)…but the value of participating in a regular exercise program can’t be understated.
Obesity lies at the root of many common health issues, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and Type 2 diabetes. When you exercise on a regular basis, no matter how old you are, you’ll be able to better manage your weight and thus lower your chances for developing conditions like those noted above. You’ll also enhance your quality of life if you’re more active; you’ll have more flexibility and energy, and you’ll probably be happier, a component to health that typically goes unmentioned.
I’m so thrilled to watch my clients gain physical and mental strength while enhancing their overall health through exercise. If you haven’t embarked on an exercise program, what are you waiting for? Our hours are flexible and we’re mobile. Contact us today!
