Tricep strength helps you get out of bed or a chair. If you fall, your triceps may be your most important asset to help you get up! As you do these exercises, be aware of your posture.
In the first exercise, Lori is using weights, flexing to the back and hinging at the hip to promote gravity tension. This is a slow movement, focusing on the range of motion without momentum.
In the second exercise, Lori uses a barre (or a wall) to lean forward and do modified push-ups, each extending the tricep area from the front.
The final exercise utilizes a resistance tube/band to extend arms to the sides.
