I just had to tell you, this morning I did three exercises, three repetitions each using FIVE pound weights!!! It was hard, but certainly not impossible. I am so thrilled and excited. I can't remember the last time I was able to lift five pounds - other than dragging in a five-pound bag of groceries from the car! I started in January, barely able to lift two-pound weights and now, eight months later, I can lift five pounds.

I believe that when we first met, I explained to you that I was never a workout person. I was a jogger or treadmill person. When my doctor urged me to start working out (because of the medication I was taking) and referred me to a personal trainer (which I had never considered before), I had two primary concerns. First, I did not know much about personal trainers, and second, and most important to me, I had no idea what exercises I could or should do considering my osteoporosis and multiple fractures that I had suffered among other health issues.

I had experience with a couple of personal trainers, one good, one not as good, before I met you. I understand that you have a number of trainers that work for you that you can choose from. You made a good choice for me. My trainer was energetic, intelligent and pleasant, all traits that appeal to me and that keep me motivated and interested.

Something else that my trainer did that was different from my previous experiences: she tried different types or more variety of exercises with me, (similar goal or purpose, just different exercise) which works well for me because I can get bored or lose motivation pretty easily doing the same thing over and over again. Also, I became familiar with more or different types of equipment.

Anyway, if I come across someone who might benefit from a personal trainer, I will not hesitate to refer such person to you.
