Allyson, trainer for seniors at Lori Michiel FitnessGrowing up in Southern California, Allyson participated in team sports including softball, volleyball, and was very involved with theatre and dancing. After graduating from Whittier College with a BA in Theatre Arts, Allyson moved to NYC to attend graduate school and pursue her career in acting.

Eventually, Allyson’s love of athletics, dance and personal development led her to working in health and fitness while looking for acting gigs. After working in big box gyms for many years, Allyson opened her own personal training business in NYC while continuing to teach group fitness classes. She did this until 2018 when she made the move back to Southern California.

Allyson’s training credentials include: Certified Personal Trainer since 1996, Fitness Instructor since 1995 and Health Coach since 2011. She has worked extensively with the senior population, including being the fitness coordinator at a senior living facility.

Allyson is a mom of two and her fitness motto is, “I love helping people feel better in their bodies, about themselves, and in their outlook on life. It is never too late to improve your health and your state of mind!”
