Sherri’s motto is that it’s “Fun to be Fit”. She loves bike riding, sculling (rowing), swimming, walking and sharing that love of fitness with her clients. After breaking her hip in a serious accident, she remembers how painfully difficult it was to start walking again. She realized that if she hadn’t worked hard to recover, she would never have regained her mobility and be able to live an active lifestyle again. Sherri is compassionate and understanding of what it takes to re-activate injured or sedentary muscles again. Her biggest joy is helping her clients move freely and confidently so that they can continue enjoying living independently and spending active time with family and friends.
Sherri has been a personal trainer for 20 years, specializing in working with adults who have balance issues, muscle weaknesses, difficulty walking and getting out of a chair without holding on to a table or chair. She helps her clients regain strength and improve their gait so that they can walk safely and get out of a chair without assistance. She gives them confidence. Sherri believes that exercise leads to a happier lifestyle.
Sherri has Personal Training certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, UCLA Fitness Instructor Program, Exerstrider, TRX and she is a Balance and Mobility Specialist for the FallProof Program at Cal State Fullerton.
