“I was honored to take part in Caregiver Wellness Day, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association at ONEgeneration on June 28. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with other resources that support and educate caregivers in keeping their loved ones healthy and vibrant.” Lori was a featured presenter giving her talk, “Don’t Get Thrown Off Balance”. This workshop helped caregivers in attendance a dual focus: to take care of their physical balance, especially when assisting their clients; and because caregiving can be an all-consuming mission, how to have a good life balance, remembering to enjoy their free time. After her workshop, Lori offered a free balance assessment to those attending, including tips for improvement.
