Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in French from San Jose State University. She used to work for Intel Corporation as a chemical engineer in the Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles in 1992.
After settling in the area, Jackie decided to follow her heart and changed her career to health and fitness. She holds a Certification from ACE (American Council on Exercise), Qi Ignition, Dance It Out, as well as many workshops in Pilates, Posture Analysis, Nutrition and other related subjects.
Jackie has been a group fitness instructor teaching Cardio Sculpt, Pilates ,Core, Barre, Strength and Release, and foam rolling at the Bay Club in Pacific Palisades for over 18 years. She also teaches Cardio Salsa and Total Body Workout classes at Santa Monica College Community Education and Westside Extension in West LA College.
Jackie has taught Chair Salsa and Chair exercise classes for seniors at the Bay Club and in Beverly Hills Rehabilitation Center and has an extensive experience with seniors.
In addition, Jackie is a personal trainer working with children and adults (young and mature) specializing in strength, flexibility, injury/post-surgery rehabilitation and balance. Many of her students and clients report significant improvement in their strength, stamina, flexibility and balance. Some have replaced their physical therapy sessions with Jackie’s classes or training with her.
She brings professionalism with care, motivation, reliability coupled with extensive education and nutritional coaching skills to motivate, energize and empower her clients.
