After she cared for her aging father, she saw the need to help less active adults take control of their fitness and nutrition. This encouraged her to return to college and earn a degree in Kinesiology & Wellness and Physical Education with courses in Physiology of Exercise for Fitness, Care/Prevention-Activity and Fitness for Living.
Joyce, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, has also trained in weight management and Pilates disciplines. Her other credentials include:

Using this knowledge and education, Joyce has been able to fulfill her vision in assisting any individual who wants to improve his or her quality of life through movement and nutrition.
Joyce develops exercise programs to motivate seniors and special populations, providing activities and interaction. She instructs individuals and also leads classes at independent, assisted living and memory care communities through fun-styled exercises that incorporate both cognitive engagement and movement.
